Treating physicians
Primary care physicians and specialists who manage the condition, screened for specialty, practice setting, patient volume, and prescribing experience.
Healthcare recruiting · Matched pairs · Nationwide
Real conversations need a real doctor and their real patient, in the same session, on the same day. RC Horowitz recruits matched physician and patient pairs, screens both sides to your spec, and coordinates two schedules so the session actually happens.
Who we pair
A matched pair is harder than two separate recruits: the patient has to qualify, the physician has to qualify, and they have to be each other's patient and doctor. We screen for all three.
Primary care physicians and specialists who manage the condition, screened for specialty, practice setting, patient volume, and prescribing experience.
Patients diagnosed with the condition and currently under that physician's care, at the stage and on the treatment your study needs.
Nurse practitioners, physician assistants, pharmacists, or care coordinators with their patients, when the conversation you want to study happens with them.
A parent, spouse, or adult child who attends appointments, for pediatric and caregiver-led conditions.
How we make pairs happen
Pairs fall apart at scheduling. Our recruiters manage both sides until the session starts.
We can start with the physician and invite a qualifying patient through the practice, or start with the patient and recruit their treating physician.
Whichever is faster for your audience. Each person is screened against their own criteria, and we confirm the treating relationship is real and current.
Both qualified, and truly a pair. Both are told exactly what will be observed or recorded, and each agrees separately, before anything is scheduled.
No surprises in the room.We lock a time that works for the practice and the patient, confirm both the day before, and keep standby pairs ready where we can.

From our files
An agency working on a major birth control brand wanted to understand the disconnect between time-pressed physicians and their patients.
Working with gynecologists, we recruited patients who already had a routine exam scheduled where a birth control conversation would be typical. A camera was set up before each patient arrived and started by the physician during the consultation. A moderator then spoke separately with the doctor and with the patient to explore where the conversation broke down. The insights shaped strategy and new materials for the brand.

Questions buyers ask
Yes. We confirm the treating relationship with both sides before scheduling, and we do not pair people who only met for the study.
Yes, when both people agree. We explain exactly what will be recorded and who will watch before either one says yes.
We confirm both the day before and keep standby pairs ready where the audience allows, so one cancellation does not cost you the day.
