Diary and journaling study recruiting.

A diary study is only as good as its last entry. RC Horowitz recruits participants who fit your audience and can realistically commit to every day of the study, then follows up so entries keep coming in.

Who we recruit

People who qualify, and who will follow through.

Multi-day studies lose people quietly. We screen for the commitment as carefully as we screen for the criteria.

Consumers

Category users, shoppers, and households recording routines, purchases, and moments of use as they happen.

Patients and caregivers

People tracking symptoms, treatments, side effects, and daily life with a condition, and the caregivers who support them.

Healthcare professionals

Physicians, nurses, and pharmacists logging cases, decisions, and workflow over days or weeks.

Comfortable with the platform

Participants who can use the app or online board your study runs on, with a tech check before day one.

How we keep entries coming

Day one is easy. Day seven is the test.

We stay involved from the first login to the last entry.

Screen for commitment

We explain the number of days, entries, and time per day up front, and ask about travel, work, and anything that could get in the way.

Realistic before it starts.

Set them up

We confirm login, app access, and a practice entry before the study starts, so day one is about the research.

No lost first days.

Watch and nudge

We check who is falling behind and follow up by phone, text, or email, using the reminder schedule you approve.

Drop-offs caught early.

Replace and close

We keep replacements ready where the design allows, and confirm completion before incentives are paid.

Complete data, clean close-out.

From our files

175 patients, four weeks, one hard diagnosis.

175+ patients nationwideAdvanced and metastatic BCC4-week diary study

An agency working on insights and positioning needed patients with advanced basal cell carcinoma, including locally advanced and metastatic disease.

Quotas were complex: patients medically contraindicated for treatment, with recurrent disease, unresectable tumors, or significant disfigurement from surgery, and some who had a prescription written but had not started it. We recruited more than 175 patients nationwide for an extended four-week diary study on how families live with the disease.

Questions buyers ask

Before you send the spec.

How many extra people should we recruit?

It depends on the length and effort of the study. We will recommend an over-recruit when we quote, based on the days, entries, and audience.

Can you work with our diary platform?

Yes. We recruit for the platform you use and run a tech check and practice entry with every participant before day one.

Who follows up when entries stop?

Our recruiters do, by phone, text, or email, on the reminder schedule you approve, so your team can focus on the content.

How are incentives handled?

We confirm completion against your rules before incentives are paid, so payment matches the work done.

Request a bid
